We have a client that uses multiple repeaters per email, each having a Headline, subhead, body text and an image that says "Read More" which links to different areas of their website.
The problem is, when they send a test email - all of the links are going to the wrong places.
Also, I will note that when reading the test email on my end, the links are set to go to the correct places.
The code I am using for the repeater:
<repeater> <tr> <td style="font-family:Georgia; color: #242424; padding:20px 28px; border-bottom:1px solid #333333;"> <img editable="true" label="Image" width="440" alt="" align="left" style="margin: 0 0 20px 0;"><br /> <h3 style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif; color:#1F1F1F; font-size:18px; margin-top:0; clear:both;"><singleline label="Title" repeatertitle='true'>Headline</singleline></h3> <h4 style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif; color:#1F1F1F; font-size:13px; display:block;"><strong><singleline label="Sub Title">Sub Title</singleline></strong></h4> <p style="color:#242424; font-size:14px; font-family:Georgia; display:block;"><multiline label="Article Body">Carnegie Museum of Art’s Neapolitan presepio, one of the finest Nativity scenes of its kind, has been a Pittsburgh holiday tradition since 1957. Handcrafted between 1700 and 1830, the presepio teems with lifelike figures and colorful details that re-create the Nativity within a vibrant and detailed panorama of 18th-century Italian village life.</multiline></p> <img editable="true" src="/images/readmore-btn.gif" alt="READ MORE" width="97" style="display:block; margin-top:20px; clear:both;" /> </td> </tr> </repeater>
Hi thadbloom, sorry you're having trouble with the links in your test email.
Could you check if this still happens if you send yourself a fresh test?
Any time you edit the content of the campaign after a test has been sent, that can offset the link redirects in that previous test. So I'm wondering if that might be what's happening here?
This happens to me too, and it corrects itself when I send out a new test.
It happened to me too, I think because of sending the test and then reediting the campaign and thus making the last urls invalid.
Just don't edit your campaign after sending a test and try immediately after.
