Has anyone managed to set up Sender ID authentication using the Network Solutions DNS interface? If so, what did you enter in the 'host' field? NS says that SPF records can be entered as a TXT record, but entering 'TXT' doesn't work. It also refuses to allow a blank field. Any ideas?
NS are being very unhelpful by the way. They just say they don't support SPF authentication (i.e. it can be set up, but they won't help their customers out…great service!)
My client is going crazy trying to set this up, so any help would be much appreciated.
We've not got experience ourselves with Network Solutions, although from other customers we've heard they aren't very helpful in supporting any DNS related issues. If anyone has got it working, we'd love to hear about it too.
A customer was able to figure out how to get this to work. Since you can't leave the host field blank, instead enter this:
He successfully verified his SenderID on Network Solutions this way. Let us know if that works for you.
